All interested members of the community are invited to join us for this fascinating day exploring the world of hemp at our annual fully catered and licensed event.
Buses will collect attendees from Hobart at 8.45, Burnie at 9am and Launceston at 10.15, or you can drive your own car if you prefer.

Buses will collect you in the morning, then return you to the same central location in the afternoon.

Food, alcohol and soft drinks are provided as part of your ticket price. All attendees will have a chance to chat one-on-one with industry experts, see hemp growing, buy speciality hemp products and meet like-minded new friends.

Join us at Franklin Tavern for a Hemp G&T while listening to a Q&A with the owners Dan & Chloe. Throughout the event shuttle buses will be going back and forth to the house for tours, lock-in your timeslot on arrival, this will be first in first served so arrive earlier to avoid disappointment.

Hemp Happy Hour
For those who would like to know more about the hemp building process and industry, rather than being on the tools, we invite you to join us from 3pm on Saturday 4th May for a Hemp Happy Hour tour.
Enjoy the stunning view from the brand new X-Hemp factory premises at Cressy, and see hurd created from hemp stalks whilst enjoying a cheeky hemp gin or another refreshment. Ask questions of the experts and meet some new friends. Entry is free for THA members of $10 for others.

Practical hemp building training
Here is a great opportunity for folks thinking about building a home from hemp. Maybe you're a designer or architect whose clients are requesting hemp for its aesthetic, insulative and ecological properties. Or you are a skilled tradesperson - of any discipline - who would like to add another string to your bow to meet surging customer demand. Maybe you just love to learn practical skills.
If so, come to a training session facilitated by experts from The Australian Hemp Masonry Company and hosted at X-Hemp HQ in Cressy, Tasmania.
