The Australian Hemp Masonry Company (AHMC) runs several hands-on hempcrete training workshops annually in Tasmania, hosted at the X-Hemp Factory in Cressy.

This hands on workshop will give you experience in mixing and installing hemp and is delivered by experienced AHMC trainers. Over the past 10 years AHMC has supplied BCA compliant Hemp building materials and worked with hemp builders and designers and with owner builders, on 240+ residential construction projects in multiple Australian climate zones, including several homes in Tasmania.

The workshops include hands on experience because learning to mix the Hemp lime material well is critical, as are learning the techniques for installing, to ensure that the outcome is both beautiful and provides optimal thermal and acoustic performance.

Builders and Architects can use the workshop and supporting resources to qualify for CPD points. Please talk to AHMC about this when enrolling.
