Tim Schmidt Receives THA Honorary Lifetime Award

At our recent AGM, past President John Heard presented Tim Schmidt with a Lifetime Honorary Membership Award. 

Since his election as President of THA in 2016, Tim’s vision and drive for the development of the hemp industry in Tasmania (and throughout Australia) has been demonstrated by the number of significant milestones achieved in this period.

Tim thanked members for their outstanding contribution towards achieving these milestones and told us of his vision for hemp in the future. Tim stepped down from the President’s role and was nominated and elected for the role of Secretary within the association.
